Timken and 3 other Ohio companies slide off Fortune 500 list

Twenty-three Ohio companies made this year’s list of the country’s largest publicly traded corporations — down from 27 last year.
Despite the losses, Ohio can still lay claim to being in the top 10 states for Fortune 500 companies; the Buckeye State ranks sixth for corporations on the business magazine’s newly released 2010 list.

Mercy Medical Center CEO testifies in court, says Aultman cost his hospital millions

CANTON: Mercy Medical Center chief executive Thomas Cecconi testified Thursday that a rival health system’s business strategy was nothing more than a bribe to insurance brokers.
